So I played the game first and then saw the movie, maybe that’s the reason for me to agree to you, maybe not.

The game feels more personal than the movie does, I couldn’t really connect to Max in the movie, coz his past isn’t explored except in a few very short flashbacks, in the game however, we have the intro and also the post card with his family and also other postcards that give a glimpse of the people in the world that was, besides max and his encounters with all of the factions is very interesting, a sort of barter to get forward in his tryst to get the magnum opus to it’s Max (pun intended) is so fulfilling.

I watched the movie today but have been playing the game for more than a month now (not full time hence the long time to play it), have finished almost 60% of it, I now look forward to finishing it, thanks to your article.

And besides I’m glad that other than me, you and maybe even more might have felt that the game was better (to be biased, the game has more time to it than a single movie ever will, so it was always gonna be this way, I guess)
